 have 28
years experience as an educator. I have taught all grade levels from K-college,
with a majority of my time spent teaching at the kindergarten level. I have been
involved in various professionally-related activities including: school
Webmaster, outdoor education, curriculum writing committees, several National
Education Association positions, student teacher supervisor, and presenter for
professional development workshops.
My passions at home include my daughter, woodworking, and flyfishing. As I write this
I am much anticipating a trip to Washington D.C. next week, where my daughter,
Melissa will be honored for winning the Sallie Mae Award for First Year Teachers.
I am so proud of her!
